Purchasing Questions

5 questions
How can I buy used trucks from Deli Auto?

The process is straightforward. You can contact us by email, WhatsApp, or through our website inquiry form. Share your requirements -- truck type, brand preference, budget, and destination country -- and our sales team will send you a tailored stock list with photos, specifications, and pricing within 24 hours.

Once you confirm your selection, we prepare a formal proforma invoice and purchase contract. After payment is received, we begin preparing the truck for container loading and export.

Can I choose specific truck brands and models?

Yes. We stock a wide range of brands including Scania, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, DAF, HOWO, SHACMAN, SITRAK, FAW, Dongfeng, Hino, and Isuzu. If you have a specific model in mind, let us know and we will check current availability or source it from our supplier network.

We can also advise on the most cost-effective options based on your use case -- whether it is long-haul haulage, mining, construction, or general cargo.

Do you sell to individual buyers?

Deli Auto operates as a B2B exporter. Our primary customers are used truck dealers, fleet operators, logistics companies, construction and mining companies, and government procurement agencies. We typically handle orders for one or more units per container.

If you are an individual buyer looking to import a single truck for commercial use, please contact us to discuss your requirements. We will advise on the minimum order and whether we can accommodate your needs.

What information should I provide before requesting a quote?

To give you an accurate quote as quickly as possible, it helps to share the following:

  • Truck type (tractor, dump, cargo, mixer, etc.)
  • Preferred brands or models
  • Year range and mileage preference
  • Destination country and port
  • Quantity required
  • Budget range (optional but helpful)

The more detail you provide, the faster we can match you with suitable stock from our inventory.

Can you help source trucks that are not listed on the website?

Yes. Our website shows a selection of current stock, but our actual inventory is larger and updated regularly. We also work with a network of trusted suppliers and dismantling yards across China, which means we can often source specific models that are not currently listed.

Send us your requirements and we will do our best to locate the right truck at a competitive price.

Inspection & Quality

5 questions
Do you inspect trucks before shipment?

Yes. Every truck in our inventory is inspected by our in-house team of qualified engineers before it is listed for sale or shipped. We run engine tests, check transmission and drivetrain condition, inspect the chassis, brakes, steering, and electrical systems, and assess the overall structural condition of the cabin and body.

A full inspection report is prepared for each unit and shared with buyers before payment is made.

Can you provide photos and videos before payment?

Yes. We provide detailed photos of the exterior, interior, engine bay, chassis, tyres, and any visible wear or damage. For most units we can also provide short video clips showing the engine running and the truck moving under its own power.

We believe transparency before payment is the foundation of a trustworthy long-term business relationship.

What parts of the truck are inspected?

Our standard inspection covers the following areas:

  • Engine: Start test, oil condition, smoke check, leaks
  • Gearbox & drivetrain: Gear shifting, clutch, driveshaft
  • Chassis & frame: Cracks, welds, structural integrity
  • Brakes: Service brakes, parking brake, ABS
  • Steering: Play, power steering function
  • Suspension: Springs, shock absorbers, air bags
  • Electrical: Lights, dashboard instruments, battery
  • Cabin: Condition of seats, glass, doors, sleeper
  • Tyres: Tread depth and condition on all axles
Can I arrange a third-party inspection?

Yes. We welcome third-party inspections by independent inspection companies such as SGS, Bureau Veritas, or any agency of your choice. We will arrange access to our warehouse and cooperate fully with the inspection process.

Third-party inspection costs are typically borne by the buyer, but we can recommend local inspection agents in Guangzhou if needed.

Are the trucks ready to use after arrival?

Our trucks are mechanically inspected and in working condition when they leave our warehouse. However, as with any used vehicle, some routine maintenance may be required after arrival depending on local conditions, regulations, and how the truck will be used.

We provide a detailed condition report so you know exactly what to expect. Our technical team is also available after delivery to advise on any maintenance or repair questions.

Payment

5 questions
What payment methods do you accept?

We accept the following payment methods:

  • T/T (Telegraphic Transfer) - the most common method for B2B truck exports
  • L/C (Letter of Credit) - available for larger orders from established buyers
  • Western Union or MoneyGram - for smaller part payments if agreed in advance

All payments are made to our verified company bank account. We do not accept personal account transfers.

Do you accept T/T bank transfer?

Yes. T/T (Telegraphic Transfer) is our preferred and most commonly used payment method. For most transactions, the standard arrangement is a 30% deposit to confirm the order, with the remaining 70% paid before container loading or against the copy of shipping documents.

Exact payment terms may vary depending on the order value and your purchase history with us. We are open to discussing flexible arrangements for repeat customers.

Can I pay a deposit first?

Yes. We typically require a 30% deposit to reserve the truck and begin preparation. This deposit confirms your order and removes the unit from available stock. The balance is due before shipment.

For new customers, this split payment structure protects both parties and ensures commitment before significant logistics work begins.

Is the payment process secure?

We understand that international wire transfers involve trust. To give you confidence, we provide:

  • A signed purchase contract before any payment is made
  • A proforma invoice with full company details and bank account information
  • Business registration documents and export licence upon request
  • References from existing customers in your region

We have been operating in this industry for over 20 years and have a strong track record with buyers across Africa, South America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

Do you provide invoice and contract?

Yes. We provide a formal purchase contract and proforma invoice for every transaction. These documents include the truck details, agreed price, payment terms, shipment timeline, and the responsibilities of both parties.

A commercial invoice, packing list, and other export documents are issued after payment and before or upon shipment.

Shipping & Export

6 questions
Which countries do you export to?

We export to over 60 countries worldwide. Our main markets include:

  • Africa: Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Ethiopia, Mozambique, and more
  • South America: Chile, Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, Ecuador
  • Middle East: UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Iraq, Yemen
  • Southeast Asia: Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar
  • Central Asia & Eastern Europe: Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Ukraine

If your country is not listed, contact us -- we can likely arrange shipping to your destination.

How long does shipping take?

Transit times vary depending on the destination port. Approximate sailing times from Guangzhou (via Nansha or Huangpu port) are:

  • West Africa (e.g. Lagos, Tema): 20-28 days
  • East Africa (e.g. Mombasa, Dar es Salaam): 18-25 days
  • South America (e.g. Callao, ValparaΓso): 28-40 days
  • Middle East (e.g. Dubai, Jeddah): 12-18 days
  • Southeast Asia: 7-15 days

These are sailing times only. Allow additional time for container preparation, customs clearance at origin, and local port procedures at destination.

Can you arrange container loading?

Yes. Container loading is part of our standard export service. Our logistics team handles the entire process including:

  • Selecting the correct container size (20ft, 40ft, 40HQ, or flat rack for oversized units)
  • Professional loading and securing of the truck or parts
  • Preparation of loading photos and container seal documentation
  • Booking with the shipping line and confirming vessel schedule
Do you handle customs clearance in China?

Yes. We handle all export customs clearance procedures on the China side through our in-house export documentation team. This includes filing the export declaration, obtaining the customs release, and ensuring all documents comply with Chinese export regulations.

You are responsible for import customs clearance at your destination country. We can provide all necessary documents to support this process.

What shipping documents will I receive?

We provide a full set of export documents, typically including:

  • Bill of Lading (B/L)
  • Commercial Invoice
  • Packing List
  • Certificate of Origin (CO)
  • Export Customs Declaration
  • Vehicle Title / Certificate of Registration
  • Inspection Report (if applicable)

Additional documents such as fumigation certificates, pre-shipment inspection certificates, or specific country-of-origin certifications can be arranged on request.

Can you ship trucks together with spare parts?

Yes. This is a common and cost-effective arrangement. Spare parts, engines, gearboxes, and other components can be loaded into the same container as the truck, making the most of available container space and reducing overall shipping costs.

Our team will advise on weight limits and packing requirements to ensure safe loading and smooth customs clearance at the destination.

Spare Parts

5 questions
Do you supply truck spare parts?

Yes. In addition to complete trucks, we maintain a large inventory of spare parts at our 12,000㎑ warehouse. This includes engine parts, gearbox components, cabin parts, chassis components, brake parts, electrical parts, steering parts, and suspension components.

Spare parts are available for most of the major brands we sell, including Scania, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, HOWO, SHACMAN, FAW, Dongfeng, and others.

Can I buy engines, gearboxes and axles separately?

Yes. We stock over 1,000 used engines and over 1,000 used gearboxes, as well as a large selection of axles. These can be purchased separately and shipped independently or combined with a truck order.

Engine brands available include Cummins, Weichai, Yuchai, Deutz, Perkins, and SFH. Gearbox brands include FAST, ZF, Eaton, and Qijiang. Axle brands include BPW, FUWA, Mercedes, Volvo, and Scania.

Do you provide genuine parts?

We supply genuine original parts sourced from dismantled vehicles and authorised parts channels. We do not knowingly supply counterfeit or substandard parts.

When you enquire about a specific part, we will confirm the part number, source, and condition before quoting. If you require new OEM or aftermarket parts rather than used genuine parts, we can assist with sourcing from verified suppliers.

Can you help find the correct parts by model number?

Yes. Our technical team can identify parts by OEM part number, VIN, chassis number, or model specification. If you are not sure of the exact part number, describe the component and the truck model -- our engineers will help identify the correct match.

Providing the truck's year, model, engine code, and any visible part numbers will speed up the search significantly.

Can spare parts be shipped in the same container?

Yes. Combining spare parts with a truck shipment is a practical way to reduce freight costs per unit. We regularly load engines, gearboxes, axles, and smaller components alongside trucks in the same container.

We handle the packing and securing of all items to ensure they arrive safely. A detailed packing list is provided for customs purposes.

After-sales Support

5 questions
Do you provide after-sales support?

Yes. Our relationship with customers does not end at shipment. We provide ongoing technical support after delivery, including help with identifying faults, sourcing replacement parts, and advising on maintenance procedures.

Our sales and technical teams are reachable by WhatsApp, email, and phone during business hours, and we aim to respond to all after-sales enquiries within the same business day.

Can your engineers help after delivery?

Yes. Our qualified truck engineers are available for remote technical consultation after delivery. If you encounter a mechanical issue, send us photos, videos, or a description of the problem and our engineers will provide guidance on diagnosis and repair.

For complex issues, we can also assist with identifying the correct spare parts to resolve the fault quickly and cost-effectively.

How do you solve technical problems?

Our standard process for handling technical issues after delivery is:

  • Customer contacts us via WhatsApp or email with a description and photos or video of the issue
  • Our technical team reviews and provides an initial diagnosis within 24 hours
  • We advise on the repair procedure or recommend replacement parts
  • If parts are needed, we quote and arrange shipment from our stock

We keep records of every truck we sell, so our engineers can reference the original inspection report when diagnosing problems.

Do you offer lifetime technical consultation?

Yes. We offer lifetime technical consultation for all trucks purchased from Deli Auto. This means you can contact our engineering team at any time for technical advice, even years after your original purchase.

This commitment reflects our focus on long-term partnerships rather than one-off transactions. Many of our customers have been buying from us for 5, 10, or even 15 years.

Can I order parts after receiving the truck?

Yes. Many customers place ongoing spare parts orders after their initial truck purchase. We maintain a large stock of parts for all the brands we sell and can ship parts by sea freight, air freight, or express courier depending on urgency and order size.

Regular spare parts buyers often consolidate orders into container shipments to reduce per-unit freight costs.

Warranty & Risk

5 questions
Do used trucks have warranty?

Used trucks are sold on the basis of their inspected condition at the time of shipment. We do not offer a formal manufacturer-style warranty on used vehicles, as this is standard practice in the used truck export industry.

However, we stand behind the accuracy of our inspection reports. If a significant fault is discovered that was clearly present before shipment and was not disclosed in our inspection report, we will work with you to find a fair resolution, which may include supplying replacement parts at cost or providing technical support.

What happens if there is a problem after delivery?

Contact us immediately with photos and a description of the issue. Our technical team will assess the situation and advise on the best course of action.

If the problem is related to a fault that was present before shipment and not reflected in our inspection report, we will take responsibility and provide support. If the issue arises from normal wear, local usage conditions, or operator error, we will still assist with technical guidance and parts sourcing, but costs will be on the buyer's account.

How do you reduce buying risks?

We take a number of steps to minimise risk for buyers:

  • Detailed pre-shipment inspection with written report
  • Comprehensive photo and video documentation before payment
  • Signed purchase contract and proforma invoice
  • Third-party inspection welcome
  • Transparent disclosure of known faults or wear
  • References from existing customers available on request
  • Staged payment -- deposit first, balance before shipment
How can I avoid hidden mechanical problems?

The best protection against hidden mechanical problems is a thorough inspection before shipment. We recommend:

  • Requesting our full inspection report and reviewing it carefully
  • Asking for a video of the engine running and the truck moving
  • Arranging an independent third-party inspection if the order value justifies the cost
  • Asking specific questions about any areas of concern before confirming the purchase

Our policy is to disclose all known issues honestly. We would rather lose a sale than damage our reputation with a buyer.

Documents

3 questions
What documents do I need to import a used truck?

  • Bill of Lading
  • Commercial Invoice
  • Packing List
  • Certificate of Origin
  • Vehicle Title / Certificate of Registration
  • Pre-shipment Inspection Certificate (required in some countries)
